Framework Performance in Ruby on Rails
We really wanted to test the framework, not static file serving or database performance. So we didn’t come up with complex queries or serve any static CSS or image files. All requests/hits/transactions are rendered pages. Also, all of the tests are GET operations (database SELECTs) for concurrent testing fairness and simplicity.
